Institute for Continuing Education Offers Help We All Need
Gustav on November 20, 2009 in Institute For Continuing EducationAll of need a little help to get the job done right. We may need to head to the home improvement store for help with a kitchen project we started. When our kids come home with undecipherable math homework, we may need to call our “nerdy” friend from high school. When our computer breaks, we call the repair shop and an anger management counselor (not necessarily in that order). The bottom line is that we need help sometimes.
In our professions, however, we often think that asking for help is a sign of weakness. It’s a good thing many state licensing boards for various professions require us to ask for help. How? They mandate continuing education courses. For those of us too proud to ask for help, this mandate is just what we need.
By attending a continuing education course, we get the help we need to do our job. We learn valuable information about new technologies, new ways of doing things, and new issues facing our field. These courses give us up-to-date knowledge that is necessary to stay on the cutting edge.
Whether you are seeking additional training in nursing, respiratory therapy, or any other healthcare support field, the Institute for Continuing Education has a program ready for you. The Institute for Continuing Education offers convenient, online and home study courses for the working professional. These courses offer the help we need without breaking our budget or filling up our free-time calendar.
Take the time to ask for help. Attending a course at the Institute for Continuing Education will give you the help you need to have a successful career…but you are on your own when your computer breaks.

My company provides insurance continuing education and I am looking to expand our offerings as we speak. I have just completed my schooling to be an EMT, thus would like to offer Paramedic, Nursing, and other types of medical CEU’s.
Do you have any advice on creating partnerships with any vendors of medical CEU’s?
In any event, keep up the good work!
It is very useful to attend continuing education course, and it helps us improve our daily jobs.
Agreed. I find it’s so important to constantly keep up with your education as there is a constant stream of new ideas and progress all the time that we wouldn’t know of otherwise.
Truly, the offers helped us a lot especially to have progressive career.
There seems to be a stigma about continuing education for adults in some realms of society – almost as if it’s a weakness to be openly still seeking to learn as an adult. This shouldn’t put people off. It’s more likely to be other people’s insecurities that hide behind such views; just like bullying in schools.

Nice Post. Education should be a continous process. Even if one got a Phd he shouldn’t feel he knows everything. Education should go on and on.
It is very important that we should continue learning although we already have degrees. Education never stops as we grow old for it is a process. As we grow old we need to know more things for us to become wiser. It is great that nowadays there are lots of continuing education.
