Without continuing education every year, we would more than likely not even be aware of new technology or better ways to serve and take care of our patients. It’s just like Accounting, back in the old days they do it in paper works and much simpler. Nowadays technology takes over and you pretty much have to learn it all. In this profession (Radiology) it is a must simply because as what the quote says someone with experience or knowledge will soon replace you.
