Every reliable and legitimate institute for continuing education will have one thing that all the other “providers” do not have – accreditation. Accreditation can only come from bodies like the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). In turn, it is recognized by numerous professional certification bodies, such as the AACN Certification Corporation, National Certification Corporation, Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators and Competency and Credentialing Institute (for CNOR/CRNFA).Of course, this varies for nurses and paramedics, but you get the point.
